| People are talking.... The Honey Project, is a youth organization that sells honey to support farmers in Ghana, Africa. We developed a press release to give them local connection to national buzz surrounding release of the DreamWorks movie "Bee Movie". What happened you ask...we got local media outlets to come out and cover the event where the students let movie goers sample the honey and we were able to generate some great press for them. This campaign generated an increase in visits to their website, and increased sales, always a great combination. NBC 6: The Minnesota Lynx were trying to increase media exposure with a limited budget during the off season. We developed a publicity stunt to get some exposure about the team even though the team had nothing news worthy going on during the off-season. Celebrity cooking show host Rachael Ray was in town to promote her book and we were able to tie in a WNBA player that loves to cook, and got the local news media there. It generated free publicity on TV, not to mention newspaper, blogs and increase branding exposure with the live audience. | 9281 |
